Mohawk Harbor will be a little busier this summer with Harbor Jam.
Rivers Casino & Resort announced the lineup for its summer concert series on Thursday in Rivers' amphitheater. The weekly concert series will feature tribute bands like Yellow Brick Road and Journeyman, along with Pure Prairie League, California Transit Authority, Orleans and Lords of 52nd street.
'People from all across the region can come out and enjoy a summer evening of great entertainment at a world-class amphitheater,' said Justin Moore, Rivers' assistant general manager.
The concerts are free and start at 6 p.m. every Saturday from June 23 to Aug. 11, rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating.
It was also announced that Druthers, one of the sponsors of the series, plans to open its highly anticipated Schenectady location in time for the first concert. Food and beverages from Druthers, Rivers Casino and Schenectady County Community College's culinary arts program will be available for purchase during the concerts. Students from the culinary program will be running a concession stand and all the proceeds from sales will go right back into the college's culinary program.
